ALABASTER is an architectural interior concept built on spatial duality, contrast, and art.
Located on a narrow, steep mountain site, the project adopts a linear, enfilade-based layout where spaces unfold sequentially along a single axis.

Conceived as a retreat, the interior is defined by two contrasting zones.
The white zone reflects the alpine context through clarity, light, and strict geometry, using mineral materials such as porcelain stoneware, metal, and plaster.
The dark zone introduces warmth and intimacy, drawing on the archetype of fire and the hearth, with softer materials including wood, fabric, and ceramic.

Art forms a key spatial element. Inspired by classical tapestry motifs and references to the Pena Palace, the mural adds a narrative layer rooted in movement and human presence, creating a deliberate contrast with the restrained architectural framework.
Through the interplay of light and darkness, the project forms a cohesive living core where architecture and art merge into a unified spatial experience.
