RAW BALANCE | Interior design, 2024
Total area: 83 m²
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Architects: Maxim Chepul, Pavel Liashkovich

PLANNING CONCEPT:
The layout is based on clear functional zoning, separating public and private areas while maintaining visual continuity and efficient circulation. The main living space combines the living room, kitchen, and dining area into a single open volume, where the kitchen island acts as a spatial element that structures the plan without rigid partitions.
Private functions are grouped deeper within the apartment and include the primary bedroom with a dedicated wardrobe, while service spaces are compactly organized along the circulation axis, ensuring a rational layout and minimal transitional areas.

RAW BALANCE is an apartment interior where exposed concrete meets warm wood and soft textiles.
The project is built on contrast — raw materials balanced by calm lighting, clear geometry, and a restrained color palette, creating a composed and quiet living environment.
LIVING SPACE VARIATIONS:
Different spatial configurations of the living area, exploring the same architectural core through changes in lighting and material expression.
KITCHEN:
A minimal kitchen composition defined by clear geometry, integrated storage, and a restrained material palette.
SPATIAL VARIATIONS:

BATHROOM:
A compact sanitary space defined by material contrast, integrated lighting, and architectural detailing.

BEDROOM:
A calm and restrained private space defined by layered lighting, muted tones, and tactile materials.
